Arrowhead Models expands its collection of finely detailed Committee Design hopper car replicas with the arrival of Conrail examples. The releases include Hollidaysburg repaints with three shop visit dates: 7-77, 4-79, and 1-80 (multiple road numbers are available for each). The fully assembled model rides on metal wheels mounted in Arrowhead Models own truck sideframes (made of 21 pieces per truck). This hopper car was Conrail’s most numerous example of this style freight car during its early years and remained in service into the 1990s. Arrowhead’s HO-scale Conrail hopper models join recently released Penn Central and Rio Grande offerings. The model carries a $64.95 suggested retail price and is available from select hobby dealers and direct from the manufacturer.
