Class One Model Works announces HO reproductions of Thrall’s 86-foot highcube boxcars will join the hobby company’s line. Thrall was one of several freight car builders that participated in the production of these giant auto parts boxcars. Thrall assembled highcubes from 1964 to 1973, with both four- and eight-door versions in their line. Class One Model Works will offer both door styles and more for its HO release. Shown is an early example of Class One Model Works’ Santa Fe four-door highcube boxcar. The coming Thrall highcube boxcar models are available for reservation direct from the manufacturer for $59.99 each.
